LSU Financial Aid Training Guide

1.  Apply to LSU.

2.  Complete the FAFSA application for the correct academic year @ www.fafsa.ed.gov.

3.  Complete Verification.

• All students applying for financial aid will need to complete the Student Data form, which can be found on their myLSU account. However, some students may be selected to submit additional 

​4.  After students are packaged and awarded, they will receive an award notification. Financial aid awards can be accepted or denied through the students myLSU account.

5.  First time borrowers need to complete Entrance Counseling the the Master Promissory Note on www.studentloans.gov.

6.  Complete registration on myLSU.
